I was off guest starring on the HAWPCast (that is what I was doing, guest starring)
Grant was ill for the recording of this podcast so Matt filled in for him.

FFXII battle system + in battle class changes + chain/stagger system - control of other members = FFXIII battle system
ReplyDeleteOh, you also have to push a button to execute every command unlike FFXII where you could just walk up to an enemy and watch your characters kill it without you so much as having to touch the controller.
So while I can understand not liking FFXII on account of voice acting, character development (or lack thereof if you take that side), setting (I personally, love Ivalice) and other points... disliking it based on the combat system while liking the similar combat system in FFXIII is beyond my mental reasoning.
